Introduction: I OFFER ONE ON ONE PET SITTING AND PET CARE. I provide pet sitting and pet care for one family at a time. My goal is to provide an environment where a pet can receive more direct attention and love. I strive to help your pet feel safe and happy while you are away. I love animals! I really enjoy pet sitting, which includes dog sitting, doggie day care, in-home pet sitting visits. I also teach dog obedience, beginning dog obedience training, intermediate dog obedience training, and advanced dog obedience training. I also enjoy cat sitting, usually go to the clients home for cat sitting. I am comfortable with bird sitting too. I also provide exotic pet sitting.

We are from WI and have a 10 yr old Gordon Setter. We spent 2 months (Feb & March) for the 1st time in the Matlacha FL area. We wanted to be able to go off for long day trips and needed to have Harley taken care of. As pet owners and not being from the area, we feel we found a slice of heaven finding Gail. Not only does Harley love her, we can not say enough about her professionalism, kindness and true care and concern for him. Harley spent every Thursday and stayed overnight and we picked him up on Friday morning for the 2 months we were there. We would not hesitate to give Gail the highest recommendation possible. Gail is amazing! When she came to my hectic home of 8 chihuahuas, 7 sugar gliders and a bearded dragon, I honestly thought she may run for the door!!! Instead she asked all kinds of important questions, took pictures of each one of my dogs so she would recognize them by name, wrote notes about each animal and for the first time I really wasn't nervous about leaving my pets! Each night before leaving my home, which she stayed at all day, unlike everyone else I had called, she would text me a detailed report and just let me know how everything was going! She was great with my animals and took time to get to know them. This is very hard to come by, this woman is not just doing this job to make money, but truly loves animals and want what is best for them! Ivy the end of my trip I knew that I would be calling Gail again in the very near future and from now I would know my animals were in very capable hands! Thank you Gail! Gail is great! She took notes on what are two dogs did know and exactly the words and hand commends that we used, so that she knew them as well! She has worked with them for only 3 hours and I have already seen a huge improvement! The dogs absolutely love her! She makes training fun for them! I would recommend Gail for any training needs!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer free "meet & greets" to establish a relationship with the dog and client. I also use this time to complete paperwork providing me with feeding and care instructions.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was active as a foster mom in a German Shepherd rescue group located in Kansas City. I learned many skills through this experience, including training and socializing the dogs so that they could be adopted into wonderful "forever homes". I found this work so rewarding that I have decided to provide pet sitting services in Cape Coral.
