FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not complicated at all. I developed a program that calculates in detail each individual construction phase, and my contractor cost is included. A pie chart showing the allocated costs and, a draw schedule. I get great accolades from my customers when I use this pricing system; it makes the customer feel more involved and secure that they know where every doller is going.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
YES! I attend a National Pool and Spa show/class every year. It is very important to keep in the know. Experience and knowledge is a must with varible speed, dual speed, and tri speed pump for pools. I alone have been saving a $150.00 a month on my electric bill switching to a varible speed pump.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At the age of 15, I would work every weekend with my father laying brick and tile. When I went to college I worked at a swimming pool company and just have been intrigued with pools ever since. After I graduated with a business degree, I took my pool contractor test and here I am. I really enjoy what I do, and can only hope that others do too.
