Classically trained musician and piano teacher Alena Dankova is originally from the Czech Republic. She has taught over 200 students in California. After a recent relocation to Florida, she continues teaching new students in Tampa Bay.
Alena teaches students all ages and all skill levels, primarily focuses on the youngest beginners, ages 4+. Alena studied classical and contemporary music in Prague, specialized in Early Childhood Development in San Francisco, California.
Alena currently lives in Clearwater, FL
and is accepting new piano students for her private Academy in Safety Harbor, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, St. Pete, Clearwater and Tampa.

Alena is hands down the BEST teacher! If you’re looking for someone to break it down to the correct level for you to understand, she is the one for you. I’ve had 3 lessons so far and I never thought in a million years I’d be able to go from never playing the piano to reading music in just under 2 weeks. Very patient and has an awesome attitude when teaching. Thank you Alena!

My kids have been taking piano with Ms. Alena for 7-8 years now since the 2nd grade. We chose her based on high recommendations from other parents at our school and in the neighborhood. I had taken piano as a child with stern and strict teachers and hated it. So finding the right teacher who could foster a love for music was key. Ms. Alena has been incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging yet firm. My kids truly enjoy playing piano and working on new pieces thanks to her.

Alena has been teaching our daughter for several years. She is truly an exceptional piano teacher - both in teaching skills and warmth of personality. Our daughter has not only learned to play the piano well, but she has learned to LOVE playing piano!
