About this pro

When attending a class at Still Lake Yoga, you can expect breathing exercises, asanas (yoga postures), flowing exercise sequences, and a period of deep relaxation. This program will condition your body and focus your mind, imparting a feeling of wellness, peace, and rejuvenation.

Tracey, a Still Lake Yoga owner and teacher, holds the title yogacharya, master of yoga. She also holds the Yoga Alliance designation of "registered yoga instructor 500". Tracey has been teaching yoga for over thirteen years, and for over two decades, she has studied spiritual approaches to living, natural modes of healing, and proper exercise and nutrition.

In her classes, she encourages students to move past perceived limitations, but to always practice non harming (ahimsa) toward the self.

Tracey has received yoga teacher training and certification at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Quebec in 2000. Upon returning from this month-long immersion in the yogic lifestyle, she was invited to Clermont to teach to the South Lake community.

The opening of Still Lake Yoga followed. In 2005, she traveled to Northern India to take advanced teacher training at a Sivananda Ashram.

Tracey teaches morning and evening classes, and she teaches private yoga sessions at the center in Clermont.

I've been practicing yoga at Still Lake for over a year and it’s my favorite place to practice. Tracey is a wonderful and knowledgeable instructor. She teaches all of her classes with every single student in mind so each person walks away with something from t he session. She offers modifications, while allowing each student to challenge themselves physically and mentally. I've visited other centers but none has come close to Still Lake and Tracey. I look forward to growing in my practice for many years to come.

I have been Tracey's student for 11 years now & have found her to be an exceptional yoga teacher who embraces the whole yoga philosophy. Her classes are not mere workouts but embody all aspects of yoga including relaxation, breathwork & meditation. She is extremely knowledgeable about which postures benefit different areas of the body & shares this information with her students. I always leave her classes with a sense of peace & well being.

I have been practicing at Still Lake Yoga for two years now, and would not practice anywhere else! Tracey is so attentive to the needs of the students and truly gives each one a complete and traditional practice. She has brought me from someone who just goes to a yoga class, to an inspired yogi!
