Introduction: Hello, I'm Diana Helman. I'm an artist from Brazil that lives in the US since January 2019. I have a BFA in Visual Arts. I have participated in art shows nationally including The Coral Springs Museum of the Art, FL and the Miami Beach Botanical Garden Gallery and internationally including Cultural Center Mauricel Ravel in Paris and Galeria Estação in Brasil. My work is known for the use of strong and vibrant colors and the christian faith has been the driving force behind my art. I have an online painting course since 2017 with dozens of student mostly from Brasil in wicht I teach all aspects of acrylic painting and creativity. Private Art Sessions ($60/ hr): Create artwork that speaks to you from the very beginning! This is not your typical classroom or tutoring session. I will show you how to develop your technical skills in painting, as well as how to develop your own creative ideas. We will explore these aspects of art making through play, collaboration and investigation of subjects that you are drawn to. Each of our sessions together are designed around projects that speak to your own interests, ideas and creative visions. All skill levels are welcome. From beginner to advanced, I will modify projects to each person's skillset. I am here to help you identify and establish art making practices that are aligned with your creative goals, that are fun and that stir your passion. My service is geared towards those who like to learn by doing and want to start producing art that speaks to them right away! Offering one-on-one or two person sessions, ages 8- adult. What to Expect: 1. Foundational and technical skill building (drawing, painting) 2. Play/ risk taking (techniques to help you think like an artist) 3. Guiding the development of personal style and interests 4. Creativity/ idea generation techniques 5. Feedback on your original artwork 6. How to document and prepare artwork to digitally present it

Diana is seriously amazing. I arrived with a half started painting that was meant to be a birthday gift and a pretty difficult date of completion. I shouldn’t have waited for last minute to ask for help with a painting that I was totally stuck and mind-blocked with but Diana did everything in her power to accomodate for me! She saw me every day for a whole week and instead of staying with me for only an hour, we worked tirelessly till around 9pm every day to make it happen. The result was magical and so much more than I could have ever expected! But even better, she was able to get me out of my head so that my creativity and painting process could flow again. She’s sweet, gentle, and has a very peaceful and relaxing way of teaching. Not to mention the beautiful and inspiring artwork that she has all around the house made by her. She’s very talented at her craft and has a passionate and magnificent way of passing it down to her students. If you’re looking for a painting teacher, look no further. This is your lady! Thank you for everything Diana! I seriously couldn’t have done it without you!

Offering to kids an special enviroment of expression and cognitive development, expanding their knowledge of the world, stimulating their creativity and art potential through painting and drawing techniques. Through each exercise we will study colors and all elements of design, encouraging the use of different materials, surfaces and possible natural resources, expanding their possibilities of communication and expression; introducing famous artists to expand their knowledge about visual arts and world culture. Improves children self-esteem, develops their confidence through the understanding and reflection of their works.
