Thus far excellent experience. I had front door installed completely with the moldings, etc. New door install was done perfectly. We decided to hire Alejandro to also do some tile work when he returns to finish another door installation. He checked all the doors in the house and made adjustments that work like magic. I would recommend any one looking for door work. I will post review for tile work once job is completed.
We hired Ronan to refit some slab doors that wouldn't close anymore. It was more complicated than it sounds since both horizontal and vertical edges had to be trimmed (which meant hardware needs adjusting). It also required adjustments to the door jambs. Ronan showed up on time, got right to work, and did exactly what he said he would do with an excellent quality of work. He communicated well during our initial contacts, and texted the day before to confirm the appt. Ronan was a pleasure to work with and a terrific value too. Thanks, Ronan!
Frank McGrath did a good job installing a Prehung Exterior Door and Garage Door Weather-Seal Trim at an affordable price. In addition to affordability as well as his quick follow-up with text/phone calls and scheduling; what I appreciated most about Frank McGrath, was his collaborative attitude and communicative nature. Frank, in my opinion, is the type of professional that if you don't want to be bothered by the details and just want the job done as efficiently as possible; well then you can feel comfortable relying on him to do the job while you go on about your business or housework....But if you're more like me, and want to have some input on how "you believe" the job process "might be carried out," or you saw a new technique/new product demonstrated on a How-To video; you can feel equally comfortable expressing this as well. Frank demonstrated a very respectful willingness to listen and discuss things first in order to come up with his best plan of action for the job at hand. It is this willingness to take on a collaborative attitude, I believe, is where Frank McGrath outshines 90% of the professionals I've ever come in contact with, involving my home-improvement projects. Yes, I would definitely hire Frank McGrath again.
Arrived 15 minutes early. Was very pleasant and work was very professional. He even installed my door knob and a new door stopper without me asking him. I will be using him again to install closet doors.
"We're very happy to have found Leo and Nery for interior projects! In just three days they remodeled two large hallway closets, including demolition of a wall, installation of new doors and moldings, custom shelving, sanding, and painting. They were always punctual, informative, transparent about prices and cost of materials, and generally a pleasure to work with. We plan to hire Leo for another project soon."
If you need someone that is expert in cabinet installation, stop and call Jose Santana with Masterpiece Cabinets. Best experience thorough, particular in making everything perfect, went the extra mile and cleaned up after the project was completed. Most reasonable rate for all expert work. If there were more stars I would give it. Highly recommend.
My husband installed a vinyl PVC fence in 2011 without a permit and when we decided to sale the home in 2015 we needed to get this resolved with the City of Lauderdale Lakes, so that we could proceed with the sale of our home. You can not pull an owner-builder permit unless you are staying at the property for at least a year. Therefore, we had to hire a general contract to make sure our fence was up to code, get the utility companies to sign off, pull permit and get everything resolved with The City of Lauderdale Lakes. Tony's pricing was the most reasonable out of all the quotes we got and he made sure that this was resolved in time so that we could close on our house. He even moved things around on his busy schedule to pull this off for us. We are very happy with Tony's service and would refer him to anyone that needs his services. Very professional and gets the job done at a reasonable price.
I had about 18 windows and doors that needed to be replaced with impact ones. I got a great price and great product! Thank you
It has been an absolute wonderful experience working with Maragh Services! From the very beginning they were easy to work with, provided fair prices, were punctual and did an amazing job on the work that was needed. So good that i'm already contracting them for more work. They're my new go-to!
Mr. Leonardy's is one of the most professional and honest handymans I have ever worked with. He installed our two front doors and a deadlock and everything is lined up amazing! Will contact again. Thank you!
I had Mark out to fix my leak and install a new kitchen faucet. He did a great job and even gave me some plumbing 101. I definitely recommend him!!
Edward arrived promptly at the time arranged and the installation of my miniblind was a bit tricky. But, he was patient and installed the blinds. He was professional & courteous. I'm going to hire him again for a flat screen wall installation.
Install bifold door. Perfect
We did a complete renovation of our guest Bathroom. W&B Villa Construction were hired due to their many positive reviews on Thumbtack and the internet. Their part of the reconstruction was to install new tile backer board around the tub area, seal it and waterproof the joints, completely tile the tub area and both adjoining walls, floor to ceiling. Only the short wall with the door entrance wasn't tiled. The job included putting a large niche by the tub and tiling the difficult recessed bathroom window surround. Tiles were non rectified 12" x 24" porcelain of three different brands. You wouldn't know from the excellent joints that the tilers had to adjust constantly due to slightly different sizes among the brands and their being also slightly out of square. They showed up at 8 am every day and would extend their work day to finish a given stage of tile application so they were able to quickly continue the next day. The workers cleaned up every day, taking away any scrap and dirt from the home. They also included the water closet install when all work was done. Excellent results. Cost was $1,300.00 which included supplies, backer board, waterproofing tape and compound, thin set, and all the labor for three workmen. We supplied the tile and the grout as we had to pick the styles and color of both. Near the end of the installation I asked Gabriel, the contractor, if he would install the brushed nickel safety grab bar, toilet paper holder, towel rack and bathroom light fixture . This was no simple chore as many holes for mounting these fixtures had to be diamond drilled into the hard porcelain tile. Gabriel only charged an extra $120.00. These professionals did a superb job at what can only be called an exceptional cost Congratulations to contractor Gabriel Villaroel and his helpers Bernadetto and Bernardo. We hope we can have them on board for our master bedroom bathroom renovation this coming winter. Anthony and Florence Mondanaro
Great experience. Professional and went beyond the original request for our job. Besides fixing our screen door (which several handymen had attempted to fix and could not), Demattia went gave us valuable advice on our awning (we were new to the house), and cleaned off a wasp's nest. I cannot praise this company enough!
