FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for businesses is 75.00/hr., and residential customers is 50.00/hr. - But recognize I am more interested in creating relationships than billing you for my time. I want to provide you with the best support, at the most reasonable price I can, and then hopefully you will give your friends my name when their tech is broken. Most often I have a fixed price for any particular service. Diagnostics are free in the Evansville/Henderson area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get to know the customer a little, and try to find out what the most important aspect of this service is. Then come up with more than one solution for my client to choose from. Sometimes the customer is looking for the absolute most effective use of his /her money, sometimes money isn't as much of an object as functionality, security, or speed. I do my best to come up with the best solution at the best price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis on Information Security Systems, and an A.S. in Computer Networking Architecture. I also have A-plus, Securities-plus, and Network-plus certifications.
