I recently hired Tammy to help renovate my two-bedroom oceanfront condo in Bal Harbour, and it was a fantastic experience. From the beginning, I loved her focus on making my condo’s biggest asset- the stunning ocean view- the star.
Tammy made selecting wallpaper, flooring, paint colors, furniture, and appliances actually fun. Her passion for it all was contagious. Our tastes aligned perfectly. Tammy- your motto, "the devil is in the details," was more than just words.
Tammy has a great eye. She knows how to play with materials, textures and colors to create really special spaces. Her ability to blend high and low-cost pieces without sacrificing style was invaluable. She managed to make my home feel both elegant and cozy, which is not easy to do.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very simple i charge a flat fee of 300$ for a 2 hour consult. Otherwise I charge 150 an hour for fuller projects and for large projects I give a discounted project fee. I also divide hourly rates between pure design hours and supervision hours to keep costs more reasonable for you. When i receive discounts from suppliers i share them with you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We arrange to have a conversation so i can understand your needs and to confirm we are a good fit. Then we decide what level plan you need--it may just be the 2 hour consult. For bigger projects, after seeing your space, I prepare more formal presentation of alternative look and feels for the areas to see what best resonates with you
Once we agree on what feeling we are looking for, we confirm the color palette and begin filling in all that we need. I take you shopping or bring samples to your house. I recommend contractors or subtrades we can work with to make it happen. Afterwhich i supervise as little or much as the project that you want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began in this business organically. I flipped some houses, then friends wanted me to design their spaces, then friends of friends asked and realtors asked if they could give my name out. I deliberately started slow and steady. I prefer working with just 2-3 clients at most at a time so that I am fully available during the process.
