5/5 Stars – Highly Recommend Urban Roots Construction! I had an incredible experience working with Urban Roots Construction. From the very beginning, Guilhermo was exceptionally responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating of all my requests throughout the project. The entire renovation was delivered exactly on time, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. They took an old, outdated apartment and completely transformed it into a gorgeous, open, and modern living space. Everything looks absolutely great. If you want a contractor who listens, delivers on schedule, and does beautiful work, look no further than Guilhermo and his team. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Urban Roots Construction did an exceptional job remodeling our master suite. Guillermo took the time to understand our vision and delivered it flawlessly. The new walk-in closet and accent wall are stunning, and the workmanship is top-notch. We’re already planning our next project with him.

I’ve worked with Guille on several projects and he’s been super solid. He shows up when he says he will, keeps you updated on what’s going on, and doesn’t disappear like a lot of contractors do. Pricing was fair and he actually stuck to the timeline. When something unexpected came up, he explained options clearly instead of trying to push the most expensive route. I’d recommend him for sure — trustworthy, communicates well, and gets the work done right.

Excellent service! From the very first contact, the team was attentive, professional, and made everything go smoothly. The whole process was clear, quick, and completely hassle-free. They kept me informed every step of the way and were always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this company for their efficiency and outstanding customer service.
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and based on the scope, materials, and project complexity. Every estimate is detailed so you know exactly where your investment is going—labor, materials, and timeline.
I don’t believe in surprise fees. If something changes, we discuss it before any work continues.
I also offer value-engineering options to help customers stay within budget without sacrificing quality.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial call or message – to understand your project, goals, and timeline.
2. On-site visit – to take measurements, assess existing conditions, and review details.
3. Detailed quote – a clear scope of work with realistic pricing and timeline.
4. Contract + scheduling – once approved, I lock in your materials and project schedule.
5. Execution + updates – clean, professional work with consistent communication and progress photos.
6. Final walkthrough – ensuring everything meets your expectations before closing out the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified General Contractor and an Engineer, with technical training in structural coordination, construction management, and Florida Building Code compliance.
My background enables me to approach renovations from not only a design and craftsmanship perspective, but also from a technical, safety, and structural standpoint.
I also manage multi-million-dollar high-end residential projects across South Florida, working closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and inspectors on a daily basis.
