Tristen T. says, "Rephrase Hi there, When Gergo asked me to leave a review for him on ThumbTack i had no idea what is this platform, but he did amazing jobs for us Long story short: If you think construction is easy, the higher price it goes to the greedy contractor I have a news for you: price is represent quality and standards. Is the same you buy a car You can buy a car for $40k and for $400k both can take you to the destination but the feeling is totally different. Is our own story: We hired a contractor first in Miami for a house remodeling That is the time I get contacted with Gergo he also gave us a price, what was almost double for a house extension (higher roof, extra 600sqft 2 story) and I thought oh he is a greedy one We ended up spending more with change orders and the “cheaper” contractor because this and that “ not included” Took way longer and was way more headache for everyone, we were waiting just to finish it! The next projects (restaurant, store, office, showroom, house) we asked Gergo straight, and absolutely no regrets! He is not the cheapest, but honest on price, and what you can expect! They never use cheap materials, and the result have this high end good quality feeling not like is going to fall apart soon! If you compare the contractors based only on price, probably Gergo is not your person, but if quality and what you get for your money count, he is the best choice, for long lasting, quality projects! Go with him never a bad decisio"See more

John C. says, "Adam is very responsive to our needs. He is easy to talk to. The project is still in process, but based on our experience so far, he is very professional and provides good value. We will see what the final project result is, but we are glad that we hire him and would recommend him for future projects."See more

Debra P. says, "My home is 81 years old and very dear to me. I needed major work done in my bathroom, mostly from water damage, termites and old age. Arthur and his crew evaluated the situation and devised a plan to fix the damage without tearing my house apart. His quote of the work required was fair and reasonable. His crew was professional and trustworthy. I had to leave several times for work and never worried about leaving them in my house. Arthur checked regularly on progress and always answered my questions in a way I could understand. He was always up front and clear about every situation uncovered. Once the underlying damage was repaired they started work on giving me a beautiful new bathroom. I highly recommend Arthur and Strategic Construction and Development."See more

Bradley Boughton says, "I hired Ed at Cana LLC to remodel my bathroom tub after a previous contractor did a terrible job. Ed was a game-changer!He installed a freestanding tub, moved pipes, added a freestanding tub filler, and tiled both the floor and walls. The project took just 3 days, and I was thrilled with the timeline and efficiency. The quality of his work was outstanding, well tiled surfaces and a perfectly installed tub. I only needed to handle the painting and cabinetry to complete the space.Beyond the bathroom, Eds quick thinking saved us easily over $10,000. During the project, we discovered a kitchen water leak. Ed promptly fixed it and even let us use his dehumidifier to dry out the walls, preventing a costly kitchen tear-out. His clear communication and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience stress-free.I highly recommend Ed Cana LLC for any plumbing or remodeling needs!"See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

There are several great options for waterproof basement flooring. For example, epoxy floors are waterproof but are thicker and sturdier than paint. Make sure the concrete substrate has been prepared for application.

Tile is a designer’s dream, giving you a moisture-resistant surface that’s infinitely customizable. Rubber sheets or tiles are also good waterproof options, particularly for playrooms, workout areas or laundry rooms.

Vinyl tiles and planks imitate wood or other materials very convincingly, provide moisture resistance and last a long time. And sheet vinyl is affordable and a great waterproofing solution for those in need of quick fixes.
