- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
--'Water Mitigation' projects usually cost between $500 - $3,000, depending largely on the amount of equipment required to properly dry the areas within 2-3 days of use. --'Mold Remediation' projects usually cost between $2,000-$10,000, depending on the number of areas affected, and whether or not we would need to clean the AC system. --'Mold Testing' projects usually cost between $500-$1,500, depending on the number of areas we test, and how many samples we need to take in order to get a clear picture of the mold issues within a property.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually try to get as much information over the phone as possible, so that we are prepared when we visit the property. --If a property needs immediate water removal/mitigation: we can respond quickly, within an hour. --If the property needs mold remediation: we would visit the property within 1 day, in order to scope the work and estimate the costs, then schedule that work within 1 - 2 weeks on average. --If a property needs mold testing: we would visit the property within 1 day and would get the report back to our customer within 2-3 days from the initial visit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My two partners and I have licenses in both mold remediation and mold assessment. Our entire staff is trained and certified through the IICRC and NORMI, which are both educational leaders in the restoration industry.
