I would highly recommend South Orlando Dog Training. Todd is amazing with dogs just as he is amazing with people. I really enjoyed the training sessions and I could see my pup did as well. Super professional, easy to communicate with, and cares genuinely about progress.

I met Maureen at Home Depot while she was working with a dog in training. I was immediately impressed. I had been seriously thinking of some form of formal training for my two year old Boston Terrier. My Penny is a sweet and smart dog, just out of control at times. Long story short, eventually I made the commitment to get Penny the training she needed to become a happier and obedient dog. For her safety and my sanity. We met once a week for one hour, for four weeks. Maureen taught Penny, my husband and myself the basics. I was very surprised at how easily Penny picked up the commands. Maureen was patient with Penny and gave her much praise when she completed a task. We absolutely Love our Penny, and Maureen has helped make her a better dog, and my husband better pet parents. I highly recommend Maureen and Mo'bedience!

Valor K9 has provide me with the best K9 I could possibly ask for. Not only did they provide me with a well mannered and intelligent companion but they also went above and beyond to bring him to me states away along with two outstanding trainers to help me with any questions and training lessons to know what to expect and how to play my part in taking in my new service dog. They help me along with so much that to say satisfied is a understatement. I genuinely appreciate everything this organization does and more. The valor K9 team definitely makes a difference and it is reflected by each individual members work ethic and character. Thanks again for putting Zodiac into my life. Battling stage 4 cancer is no easy task but having him in my life makes a tremendous difference. He given me the strength to keep fighting on. He’s with me 24/7. as I’m with him. He diffently brought joy back into my life. I noticed myself finding the strength to do more when he’s around!

I have had the opportunity to observe Clara & Barry while training their newest service dog. Sabrina is a beautiful, intelligent puppy and has learned so much already. Clara & Barry train with love & rewards and Sabrina is eager to learn. She already knows lots of commands, like come, stay, down, shake, sit and roll over and she's also learning to go to the door when she wants out. Clara & Barry make a great team and someone will be so lucky to get one of their service dogs Dee O

I found an amazing dog marshmallow who was the sweetest thing. However he wasn't potty trained, did not know 1 command, chewed stuff and was afraid. He was found left in a sand box. After deciding to keep him. Heather from Pawsitively Calm took him under her wing for 2 weeks. She cared about marshmallow and worked hard not just for him, but for my wife and I to make sure we got him back ready to turn over. She makes you realize the dog has all the tools we just have to own it. I highly recommend anyone who has a problem with their fur baby in any way or if even your a person considering a dog but doesn't feel you have time to train it. This is where pawsitively Calm comes in. She will take that work right off your hands. Heather is professional, dedicated, highly knowledgeable but most importantly she cares. Don't hesitate 1 second in contacting heather for your dogs behavioural issues. We thank you so, so much for helping marshmallow and us. We are forever grateful for pawsitively Calm.

        About

I've been in the dog field for over 25 year, and I love working with animals. I am a part of ABS service dog, and I help with obediance.

        About

I noticed that most other Dog Trainers in this area only do Training while their pet is being boarded. This can be good but also negative as your dog may only respond to the trainer, not you once they return home. I find it more effective to work along with your dog. I do offer a boarding option as well though if it fits you better.

We have a four month old puppy who needs some training. I'm frustrated and at the point where I am not sure if this is something I can do alone. I would like to know what the investment would be to get him properly trained. He fights his crate, chews it up, escapes, pees as soon as he is put in it even though we have tried to make it a positive experience. We also have a toddler so there is a lot of confusion between whose toys belong to whom, and he jumps to play and scratches her a lot. He is getting the house training to a degree although at times even after going out to his spot, peeing, and being rewarded he will still come into the house and use the bathroom again within ten minutes or so. I understand that this isn't something that will be inexpensive. At this point I need to know how much this would cost for an average puppy with these issues so that I can try and decide if it is something we can afford, or if it is time to pass our puppy off to someone better equipped to deal with the time and attention he needs. My husband is in the Navy, deployed to Japan and thought a puppy would be a great idea. I had my hesitations, as it would be me taking complete charge of the puppy's training, along with caring for our five children, but here we are and while I hate to let the family down, this is really hard to handle with everything else I have to do to run the household. We cannot afford to spend a crazy amount of money, but at the same time I really don't want to give up on our baby. I'm really at a loss here so please just any advice would be great.
