Letterpress is a very old process. Each print has a unique personality. Because the machines are as old as the process, and there is so much involvement between press and printer, the Letterpress Process is prone to produce slight variations from one impression to the next. Perfect precision, while always a goal to strive for, is achieved in a limited sense. But this is what makes this method of printing so much sought after. Each impression is a stand-alone work of art!
