- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am subscribed to various food magazines, I am constantly caught with my nose in a cookbook. I love reading food blogs, even just looking up random dishes or tools or trends on google and reading about them. I am constantly doing research a few hours a day at least on culinary subjects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have loved cooking since I could lift a spoon. The aromas, the spices, the herbs, the butter, all the passion that goes into it. My mother also was a huge inspiration to me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Since I am small, and just starting out, the most common thing I have done so far is clients order baked goods which I quote a price on according to ingredients/current market prices with an added labor fee. Such as one client ordered strawberry cupcake minis stuffed with strawberry preserves, topped with a creamy cream cheese dark chocolate frosting.
