Introduction: I have been playing the cello for 27 years, and absolutely love playing for others and teaching them to do the same. I have studied with some of the very best players in classical music all across the country, and I employ an approach that instructs and shapes the whole student, not just the fingers. My goal in teaching is to get as many people as I can to learn to enjoy their own intellectual and artistic potential, regardless of how seriously they intend to pursue the craft. Teaching is the art of assisting discovery; that's what I want for everyone who picks up the cello.

My 11 year old daughter just started lessons with Kevin and I couldn't be happier with the service he provides. He is wonderful with her as a beginner and he clearly has the experience and ability to be an excellent instructor for higher level students as well

Kevin Jones has done incredible work with our ten-year old. Our son has only been taking lessons for four months, but he has already surpassed what the school orchestra is working on. Mr. Jones is really easy to reach if you need to cancel or reschedule, and uses an easy, pay-on-line system. Mr. Jones is so very mellow, and when my boy gets frustrated, he is amazing at bringing my son back to task. My quotes are the per lesson fee. Enrollment in my studio is tuition based, and paid on a monthly basis.
