FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My certification as a Professional Dog Trainer requires me to maintain continuing education units. I do webinars and seminars several times a year far beyond the required number of CEUs. I also attend and serve as staff on the country's largest dog training conference for the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Dog trainers can have vastly different skill levels yet claim to be able to accomplish the same things. It is important for you to find the right person to help you and your dog. An important criteria is finding someone you and your dog feel comfortable with. Convenience and cost, while very important, are not the only determining factors. You need someone who can help you train your dog.
