Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work stand out from others because I find a way to connect with my studnets. By forming a good connection I understand their needs and how I can help them get to their goal. I make learning fun and interactive! I love seeing the success of others more then anything else at my job. I love knowing that I was able to help someone become better at a concept or subject matter.

Charlene tutored me in SAT Prep. We did the tutoring at the library. It took 2 hours everyday that I went. She really knew what she was teaching, and made everything easier to understand. She is always on time and always delivers what she promises. The only thing I would change is working with her more hours every week, but other than that she is the best tutor I ever had.

Mrs. Ambroise was so patient with me and was a wealth of knowledge. I feel confident in my studies now that I have had the opportunity to learn from her.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently tutored a young lady that had completed high school course requirements but did not pass the reading portion of the mandated standardized test so she was not given a diploma. A minimum score on the ACT would grant her the requirements for a diploma but she had taken the test twice and was not able to pass. I worked with her twice a week, 2 hours per session for 4 weeks. I saw her improvement and could tell she was spending time on the homework i provided as well. She passed and her test and will begin college the fall of 2015. She was beyond excited and so was I. We were both very proud.
