Introduction: I am a retired Broward School teacher. I taught for 37 years and taught Algebra for 25 years of those 37 years mentioned above. I was a finalist for Broward Teacher of the Tear and Coach of the State for MathCounts Competition. My students had the top scores in school on the FCAT exam. Five of my students got perfect scores of their State's Algebra. I could help your child become self confident and successful in mathematics. One-on-one explanation, time, and desire will make it happen.

HARRIET Berenfield's reply
I am a master teacher retired from Broward County Florida after teaching 37 years. Mrs. Henry is a very concerned parent who has a son that failed math last year. She decided to take him out of school and home school him. The home school program gave an exam to complete to see where he was to begin. When I arrived to interview for the job she had me tutor him for two hours. The first problem was an Algebra II problem so I skipped it. She wanted me to do the test for him. WE (I completed) 20 problems that were not done by the child. They were very difficult and he had a hard time understanding most of it. Mrs. Henry was very upset when I did not get a 100 percent. This young many has potential but will never get a head if others are doing his work. This position was not about teaching but doing the child's work, He was a very nice young man from a good home that needs help. I did not get paid for my two hour interview!!!!!
