Introduction: I began tutoring at a young age. As a student I would help tutor classmates and even my siblings throughout my education, which continued as volunteer tutoring in high school. In college I was hired as a part-time tutor to service inner city schools in North Carolina. After graduating with a degree in Biochemistry I continued tutoring after hours while advancing my scientific career. My passion for education has helped me transition to tutoring full time. I am patient and I take the time to not only understand the student's needs but also to become a mentor and instill a thirst for knowledge.

Jesenia worked as a tutor for four years in college as part of her work and service requirement at Warren Wilson College. I was her supervisor. Jesenia is organized, personable, knowledgeable, trained in as many aspects of tutoring as were available at the time, fun, creative, and, did I say, organized. What else do you want?
