Of the 5 companies, 2 of them insisted on charging for estimates, but this was a side yard (sod only) project, so the only task necessary was to measure and see how many pallets were needed. I wasn't installing any trees or bushes. After we agreed on the price... low and behold within 2 days the job was done. The communication before this morning's arrival was perfect. After the sod was laid, he was so knowledgeable about the irrigation needs for my new lawn that I agreed to new heads being installed -- and he spent 40 minutes or more adjusting each one so the water coverage was perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! In fact, I will be meeting up with him again in January for several of my rentals. Did I mention reasonable prices too? Very fair charges -- no gouging here."See more
