FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since I was a child, I have been extremely artistic. When I went to college, I became an art major and eventually it morphed into an art education major. At one point I swore that I would never create art on a computer, and then just a few months later there was no getting me to leave the Mac Lab. I would stay there for 6-8 hours at a time learning Photoshop and Illustrator. The concept for New World Scribes started while my husband and I were living in Guam. We had called around to get business cards made and were astounded at the price of a box of cards. It was at that point we decided that I would provide design services to the small family owned businesses on the island at a reasonable price, and it took off from there. The business has traveled with us, from Guam to NY and now to the Treasure Coast of Florida.
