Austin is a magic giant. We called him only a day or two before he was able to come out and give us an estimate on the handy work we needed done on our house. We got a detailed estimate right away that was EXTREMELY fair, probably more fair to us than to him. He was over the very next day to begin work, albeit it was one of his busiest times of the year. Him and Matt both worked on the house; everything was accomplished flawlessly and around our schedule. You will not be disappointed using his services.

Austin repaired exterior wood damage for my house. He is great in every way: professional, courteous and timely. He also went out of his way to make recommentation on a separate project. I would definitely hire him again for any future needs.

After making appointments with 2 different Handymen, who never showed up, I turned to Thumbtack. Awesome what a great service this turned out to be! Austin was GREAT! Did numerous projects around the house from hard jobs to small jobs, always making sure it was done correctly, even when it meant more work for him. Reasonable rates, very prompt, efficient and just a real joy to work with. We have more projects on the way and he is our " go to guy " now. I recommend him 100% and feel free to contact me to confirm if you want. He really is a great Handyman! Patricia Lenahan and Bonny Bass Newberry, Florida

Austin was very quick to respond to my request. He came to our house within a day to look the doors over and measure. He came up with a reasonable quote. It took him two Saturdays to install two doors in a very old house where nothing is normal sized. I was very happy with the results of the two doors. Austin made sure everything was up to our standards. Austin was very nice and understanding of our families needs. If I had any questions Austin was fast to text me back. I would recommend Austin to anyone that I know and I will ask for help from Austin again.

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I took on a custom coffee table with a hinged lid that lifted off evenly to create a living room workspace. I'd never done anything like it, and it was pretty challenging. However, I was able to make exactly what the customer had in mind. She was extremely happy with the results.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You really do get what you pay for in this line of work. Cutting corners in cost and materials severely decreases the quality and lifespan of the work.
