My name is Chris Combs and I am born and raised in Gainesville. I started professionally painting at age 14(30 years ago)under my father Gary. I take my work very seriously and strive to do the best I can on every job, no matter how big or small. My #1 goal is to give my customers what they want and I don’t consider the job finished until they are more than happy with the work they have received. Chris got me a quote quickly and once he started he knocked out the job faster than he estimated (which was already way shorter than other painters quoted) and it turned out great. Definitely a great resource for anyone looking for a reasonably priced professional paint job.

Comments: It was a pleasure working with Chris to determine the best options to repaint my house. He was very knowledgeable, had many paint options and made excellent suggestions and recommendations. It was obvious Chris loved his job as he demonstrated he sincerely cared about treating my mother very good and providing her with the most competitive price for the job. No other painters came close to the price he offered. Chris also painted the front door without that being discussed or agreed to before the job; and he only charged $50 to paint the door. I am sure you will be completely satisfied with Chris and his work. He is a great example of how all businesses should treat their customers.

Chris and his crew were great! He painted the outside of our house and now the interior as well. His crew is punctual, professional and placed all our items back when done. They painted the ceiling, walls, trim, and doors all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Chris was a pleasure to work with. He is personable, reliable, and professional. His team did a good job repainting the house, applying the paint consistently over the existing colors. Only quibbles were a thin window frame that got missed, a few very minor drips/splatters on plants and part of the patio, and a couple of small plants that were stepped on, destroying one. It did take a while to get on his schedule because he was booked up, but once we got on the schedule they got the job done pretty quickly. Overall, a good job and decent value. I would give his crew 4.5 out of 5 stars. We recommended him to my mother-in-law, and she had a good result/experience as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions and listen. I want to know exactly what they want and what their expectations are. Then I tell them what I can do for them and work with them to achieve their goals for the project at hand. I will let them know what products we will use and why and how long it should take us.

I have been painting professionally for over 25 years
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started painting under my father. He had his own painting business and I credit most of what I know about this business to him.
