Some states designate a project cost over which you have to hire a licensed contractor. To find qualified licensed contractors, search your state’s licensing board. For example, in California, the Department of Consumer Affairs operates a searchable database through the Contractors State License Board. Mike was hired after another contractor completed a project that I was not completely satisfied with. He quickly realized that I was detailed oriented and aimed to pleased. He started with two bathroom renovations, a master bedroom renovation, and a walk in closet. He also completed a backsplash for me after another contractor told me with one days notice that he would not be able to do it. Mike reassured me and told me not to worry because he would take care of it. We added a barn door and it initially it wasn’t working properly. He hung and re hung it until it was right. Mike has been a blessing to us and will be around for a long time!!! He is very conscientious about his work and works very hard so his clients are pleased with his work.

What can I say... Mike is awesome. This project required just about everything. Roof, kitchen, bathroom, electric, plumbing, floors... you name it, it needed it. He always made sure we were aware of any issues and sent us pictures every step of the way to see the progress. I was so impressed with him that I even referred him to my mother to do her kitchen. We will be definitely be using Mike for our rehabs going forward. A+ contractor!!!
I hired Moses Renovations in August to redo my house floors and paint. I was told it would take about 2 weeks to complete it took 1 month and a half . The workers never covered my items and poorly covered my kitchen and chandeliers prior to smashing the old floors which resulted in me having to replace my light fixtures again. The workers broke my disco balls while painting the ceiling and were very slow at placing the new tiles . They made numerous mistakes and had to replace so many new tiles that we ran out and then could not get any more to match the color of the floor. The first crew left and he sent new guys to take over and damaged even more tiles ! The floor is ok but displays very uneven grout and gaps and it isn’t smooth. The paint job was awful too there are tear bleeds of paint all over my house which already has knockdown walls so it’s looking horrible. The job included new baseboards and door frames which I now have to replace has the contractor chose the cheapest door frames and had these guys paint it with a sponge ! The frames are displaying dots and wholes and uneven surface everywhere. When shown to the contractor no solution. To top it off they flooded my kitchen as they didn’t cap the dishwasher drain twice! Snd damaged some of my kitchen cabinets. when the guys worked in the bathroom they replaced the toilet and for 2 weeks my home smelled like sewage. I asked for a plumber but he didn’t send one , insisted in fixing it themselves and until now it still smells bad! They repainted the bathroom too without removing shelves and there are bleeds of paint everywhere. Including on the new tiles. They did not clean up the areas , left debris outside my home til now , grout smears in my garden and never finished the reducer in the floor between rooms. My front house lawn and plants were also damaged during construction and they didn’t care. Most of my items were moved I. The garage and they never covered it snd cut the tiles so close ( basically in the garage) that everything in there had to be trashed ! There are probably more complaints but I’ll just leave it to this. I do NOT recommended this company they are EXTREMELY INEXPERIENCED and sloppy.
