This was our first plaster and concrete block house, being from the northeast, where most homes are Sheetrock and 2x4.. We had no idea what to expect, when we started to remodel out kitchen. The job was big, including an interior wall 1/2 taken down, to create more kitchen counter space and open up the kitchen area, and create a new large 4x4 pass through to our adjoining family room, again creating more light and spaciousness. The removal of the old kitchen and the cement and block work was a huge task, and Mr Bornman never raised his estimated price or changed his schedule. He knew exactly what had to be done and explained it as he was moving forward. We love the new kitchen, and the design he helped us with has changed the entire feel of the house. A persistent perfectionist is what I would call Lawrence in two words. We hired Lawrence to install a fence gate door and I don't think we could have hired anyone better. Lawrence went above and beyond and made sure this gate will last a lifetime.

Mr. Bornman was true to his word and honored the original quote he gave us to replace an outside door. The price was more than fair as the job turned out to be more than a simple replacement. Mr. Bornman did a great job installing the new door and shows excellent craftsmanship. He knows his carpentry! We hope to use his services again in the near future!
