Introduction: When I am decorating a cake I my 'A Type' personality comes out in a big way. I try to get the decorative elements of the cake as realistic as I could possibly get them. I believe it is how real I make a customize cake looks and the crafty way I put together different elements. I am so convinced that what I do is a God given gift of making edible art - every cake is a masterpiece for my client. Of course masterpiece of artwork stands out. I live what I do in total but what I love most is having the creative license to design then decorate the cake for my client. To get to this point meeting or talking with my clients to hear and see their ideas; putting that mental picture on paper, then in sugar, is an important part of that creative process. Later seeing or knowing their eyes popped out (in a good way) what not to love about your work. I have had client feeling blessed to know I thought they deserved the cake I designed. Makes my work priceless!

Jeanette has done a handful of cakes for me every year since 2008 when she made my baby shower cake. Her work is detailed, impeccable, and her cakes are amazing! She has designed every cake for my children, family members, and our clients. Everyone loves her cakes!

I used Jeanette for two different events. One was for my graduation and she made not only an exceptionally stunning presentation of a nurses cake decorated with a stethoscope and nurses cap (all edible of course!) but the cake it's self was also delicious. My second event I had her make cake pops for me and they were a huge hit for my candy buffet table and everyone loved them. I would highly recommend! Reasonably priced as well!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Something you should keep in mind when ordering your custom cake, will it be indoors, outdoor and the length of your event. In South Florida humidity is the enemy of sugar therefore, you should consider when you would like your cake delivered to prevent it standing out in the elements for too long a time. The best temperature for cakes is 75-degrees F and that is keeping it real cool.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    It not like baking cupcakes in your Easy Bake Oven. It involves hours of planning and preparation, having things in place (mise en place). High school chemistry and physics class was well worth it because it not just the art of decorating but the science of baking and physics of the construction. The passion to go on even when you have a bad occasion.
