I trained with Cedrick at 6am twice a week, which at first I thought I'd never survive but ended up looking forward to it every time. He is an amazing and fair trainer - he definitely pushed me but still made sure I was feeling okay, that my form was correct, and that I wasn't going to injure myself. HIGHLY recommend!!

Cedrick helped me lose excess weight for my wedding :) It was a very planned work out schedule and he even took the time to do measurements and protein calorie intake suggestions. I highly recommend him for your weight loss/ tone up needs.

I met Sgt Cedrick Miles at LAFitness, he was assigned to me for Personal Training at Master Level. It was a great experience and I learned a lot about the rationale for the exercises that I was performing. He is professional, efficient, a good teacher, provides good nutritional education and is friendly. He was very skillful in adding weights and/or repetitions. Breathing and exercise form was coached through every set. He boosts your confidence by great demonstration of the exercises as well as performing some of the sets. Lastly, Sgt Miles demonstrated great Leadership with the other Trainers and had a very positive impact for the Training Team.

All I have to say is THANK YOU to Cedrick! I didn't even know or believe it was possible for me to actually be in such amazing physical shape. Not only has my body changed, Ced taught and encouraged me to live a more Active, Balanced, and Fit Life. During our consultation I told him exactly what my body goals were and Within a short amount of weeks everyone (including myself) could recognize a change in my appearance. I was smaller (lost fat) in target areas and Gained muscle in others. My energy and motivation levels are now higher than ever. I'm lifting weights, running distances, and feeling like I didn't even know I could! I was truly a skeptic but it is obvious that Mr. Miles clearly knows what he is talking about... Though he will KICK your BUTT during his BootCamps! Lol

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Weight loss, toning and sculpting

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ensure your trainer follows through with your specific training needs and goals. Not the goal that he or she wants you to assign to you. Its your body and your happiness. Request to see their certification. Don't just take their advice that they are a personal trainer. You may want to ask your potential trainer these questions: 1) What are you strengths and weaknesses? 2) Do you have references. 3) Through what agency are you certified? (ask to physically see it) 4) What is you training / exercise philosophy? 5) What do you charge and how do you expect to be paid? (inquire about hidden fees)

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I am a 14 year Army veteran that had a dream and a passion. On 2013Nov11 (Veterans Day), I resigned from my job as a Senior Accountant at a major healthcare firm to follow my dream. I established MilesPT, LLC, and residential health and wellness service amenity company, specializing in personal, group fitness, and small group training. Being my own boss while helping others is a dream come true for me and I encourage anyone to do the same. Identify your passion, find a way to make a profit from it, and dive in full time. BEST CHOICE OF MY LIFE.
