Introduction: I have several years of tutoring experience working with students with learning and physical disabilities (including dyslexia) in developmental courses as well as college level courses including preparatory Mathematics, Business Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Research & Methods, QMB, Economics, and Psychology and Nursing Statistics courses using SPSS. My main focus has been college and university students. I have also tutored Mathematics courses in Barry University. I currently teach Mathematics at Barry University. I have tutored professionally since 2009 as I started out as a tutor in Broward College Central Campus.
I have a B.S. in Statistics, B.A. in Economics, minor in Mathematics, and a certificate in Latin American & Caribbean Studies. For my B.S.in Statistics I took combined undergraduate and graduate level Statistics courses. I recently graduated with my M.S. in Economics with a 4.0 GPA. I also have experience tutoring students face-to-face, online, one-on-one, and on a small-group basis. In addition, I have tutored students in graduate level courses that were pursuing a ph.D. in nursing, MBA, and Master in Economics. I am familiar with statistical software packages as well including SPSS, STATA, Minitab, and APA style to report statistical results. I am also fully fluent in Spanish and English. Hablo español. My goal when working with students is to focus on the topic/material at hand at the student's own pace. I look forward to working with committed students.
