- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love weddings! Before becoming an officiant, because I am pretty creative, I dabbled in wedding planning. I soon came to see that this is a huge undertaking, and I realized that I could contribute to the joy of a wedding day in another capacity, which would give me a more personal relationship with the bride and groom.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who is willing to work with you to let you tailor your ceremony the way that you like it. Besides, it is your day!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that people know that Officiants are flexible. Many people believe that there is a certain way to do a wedding, and that it is written in stone. Many officiants are willing to tailor your ceremony to be exactly what you have always dreamed of.
