Drum Lessons with Cameron

Introduction: Hi, I'm a drum teacher/percussionist in Eugene, OR offering private lessons for drum set, keyboard, congas, and cajon. I have been playing drum set for 15 years and received a formal music education from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. My goal is to provide the student with a wide range of rhythmic concepts and techniques while helping them develop their own personal style. My lessons include equal emphasis in theory and improvisation. I have played in formal orchestral settings as well as jazz, rock, and folk bands in from Florida to Oregon. My interest in drumming has directed me toward learning different drumming traditions, focusing largely on Latin American and West African rhythms. I'm currently accepting students for Zoom lessons.
