UPDATE:I spoke with Flexs team, specifically Stephanie, and Im pleased to report we reached a great resolution. Stephanie listened carefully to my concerns, reviewed the incident details, and took clear steps to address the issues I encountered. The communication was responsive, the handling professional, and the outcome constructive, with practical guidance on preventing similar situations in the future. While my initial experience was challenging, Stephanie and the Flexs proactive approach has restored my confidence in the companys commitment to customer satisfaction. I appreciate their effort and would consider doing business with Flex again under improved operating practices.I had a highly unpleasant experience with Flex. When I called to set up movers, the agent described the process and the protective measures they offer, such as TV boxes and secure furniture wrapping. They claimed that there had not been a claim for damages from a client in over a year. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those assurances.The movers assigned to my job showed little regard for our items and did not handle them with care. I understand we were moving from a second-floor apartment, where the stairs can present challenges. My wife and I labeled all fragile items and communicated clearly to the movers. I observed one crew member moving three boxes on a single dolly while we were watching from a doorway. As they descended the stairs, I heard objects crashing and shattering. I stopped them and asked if they heard the glass breaking and urged them to proceed more carefully. They continued at the same pace with no noticeable improvement.Additionally, one of the movers engaged in an extreme verbal exchange with a colleague, which created a disruptive scene. An apartment manager was contacted to address the incident.The most concerning part occurred at the drop-off location. The crew scraped the driveway while backing the trailer, collided with walls and door frames, and caused visible damage. They broke a $300 dresser, rendering it unusable, and snapped two bookshelves. I filed a claim for the two damaged furniture pieces, but I received an email indicating that neither item was eligible for compensation.Overall, this has been the most unprofessional experience I have had with a business in a long time. I hope Flex takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issues to prevent future customers from facing similar problems.
