We are a smaller moving company that can handle big moves just like the big name moving companies but for a better price. I am not just the owner but I am also one of the movers and will be on site with most moves. I like working and meeting new people. I like that I can be an asset in someones move and not a burden.

Scott is fully dedicated to the success of his business. He wrote back to Thumbtack within the day with a flat-rate for my 2 hour move. He was available when I needed him, even on a day that he was otherwise off after a 3 day holiday weekend. He asked all the questions needed to be ready for the job beforehand and has a contract with detailed info of what to expect. They were punctual, I opened my storage unit and left and they took care of the rest quick and hassle-free, even letting the storage office know it was cleared out so I didn't have to return. All I had to do was put my bed back together since I had already disassembled it. Nothing was damaged. He has you do an inspection of all your belongings and take a look inside the truck to ensure nothing was left behind. In short, Scott's Discount Movers were professional, well-prepared & transparent, punctual & quick, accommodating, and thorough. I would definitely use again and will recommend to friends.

Dear Thumbtack, 5 Stars all the way! This company is a local gem. Scott's Discount Movers moved me last Friday and they were excellent! The Crew was on time and they worked quickly and efficiently. I have moved my household (or parts of it) a lot and I have to say that this is one of the fastest crews I've seen. Moving me is particularly difficult because I have a lot of art, antiques and unique furniture. Everything was handled with special care and there was no problems with breakage or marring. The crew was friendly and communicative. Jarrod, the crew leader was exceptional. He organized loading wonderfully and that truck was one of the best packed I ever seen. The crew's work ethic remained strong throughout the day, and it was a full 8-hour day (I have a lot of stuff). At my new house, offloading was equally efficient and they were very good about moving things around if they didn't fit the space I thought they would. Jarrod kept telling me, it was my move and they were there to help me. It was so refreshing, you don't hear that often with movers. I really appreciated it. We even had a hiccup in form of mechanical difficulties with their truck and Scott handled this so professionally by immediately dispatching a mechanic and making necessary back-up arrangements. Little time was lost and I was not charged for any down time. I have used several movers in this area and none compare to Scott's Discount Movers. I would highly recommend them, they are the best.

The moving team was punctual and very professional. I was pleasantly impressed with their coordination of tasks to ensure efficiency. Jerry and Tommy are a great duo moving large items. They communicated and were in synchronization while lifting and turning very heavy furniture. Stephanie was very knowledgeable about the care and packing of fragile pieces. She also provided visual guidance for the guys as they negotiated furniture through tight spaces. This was a wonderful move. I will definitely use Scott's Movers again!

Moved from a 10x10 storage into an apartment. The movers were very respectful and made sure I was aware of any damage before they put the furniture in the truck. They helped me set up the larger furniture pieces which is a huge help. Thank you for your help!

Took the time to safeguard furniture. Did take 4 hrs for total move but living on a third floor it's to be expected. Arrived on time and hardworking movers
