Introduction: I have been a private & public teacher & tutor for over 35 years. 6th - 12th grades and adults. I have tutored via many platforms including Skype & traveling to students homes & libraries. My main focus areas are English, Reading, Writing & SAT/ACT Prep. I'd love to have you as a student! Sheri has a rare quality as a teacher/coach in that she can provide feedback in a way that is supportive and honest at the same time. This enables her students to feel "safe" to open up and take chances which help them progress quickly. She is extremely accessible and has her students' best interests in mind at all times. Sheri truly loves seeing her students succeed!

Sheri's coaching style creates a comfortable risk-taking atmosphere. She provides the tools to get me out of my comfort zone so as to help me achieve small successes that grow into large ones. She is never judgmental, yet gently pushes me to be the best that she knows I can be (even if I'm not sure I can!). Also, she is a good collaborator. If I have an idea, she listens. I have learned a lot about preparing for self-taped auditions from her. Recently, I had an hour coaching session for an indie film self-taped audition and I was cast! When I told Sheri, she was very complimentary and that helped to boost my confidence, knowing how pleased she was!
