Best ACT Tutoring Service Look if you want to get a good ACT score, there is no other way to go than with Chelsea International. My teacher was excellent; she was active and showed real passion for what she does. I excelled with her guidance and my test score went up by 10 points. The most important aspect of this whole experience is the change in my attitude to effective studying, and gaining more confidence which is what is needed in a test environment. Thanks Chelsea!

I went back to school after 20 years and struggled with writing papers that sounded professtional. Brittany took the time and had the patience to teach me in a way that I understood.

If you want grade recovery, higher test scores, or just a better feeling over all about school, I'm your man. I've been tutoring for all of my high school career - mainly elementary students. I intend to continue doing so. I can help in almost any subject especially mathematics (it's my passion).

This is one of the first things customers see about your business. I love to help students in there subjects! I tutor all areas.

I am getting my small business off the ground, providing a variety of services, including K-12 and college-level tutoring in multiple subjects, copy write editing of scientific and other documents, and technical consulting on private projects. I am employed as a full-time college-level science instructor and hope to invest more time and energy into growing my business in the next couple of months. Chances are great that I am connected with an expert/professional whom you might need if I can't help you myself!

We provide tutoring for many subjects: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, Spanish, and higher-level mathematics. We also provide any of our sessions via online tutoring.

I am an accomplished educator with the passion to help students improve their skills and overall confidence in Math. As a self-motivated individual with strong communication, planning, and organizational skills I am able to effectively interact with a diverse range of students across a variety of academic levels. Throughout my teaching career, I have a proven track record for achieving learning gains and improving the self confidence of my students.

I am a junior in college who has taken up AP Calculus II, and am looking to tutor students in any math subject. I have tutored for the past 3 years including AP Statistics, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and basic mathematics. I am willing to travel to students' homes. I look forward to hearing from you!

Simply knowing a subject isn't adequate enough for one to define him/herself as a great tutor. A great tutor is one who can relate to the student's goal(s) by helping them reach their fullest potential. I do this by simply assessing each person's needs and drives.

Over a decade of experience working with students at all ability levels to prepare them for AP and other college level and college prep assessments. Can also provide some subject specific tutoring, college coaching and preparation, essay review, and more.

I love one-on-one tutoring children, and I find it very rewarding to help them through the steps until they get it. I undertake the challenge to improve their school grades and performance. I help them understand and master math and science subjects the easy way. Although I can tutor several subjects related to my fields of studies and prior experience due to my diversified academic, work and teaching experience as a certified teacher, I would prefer teaching and tutoring math and sciences to elementary, middle school, high school and college-level students in advanced math and physics. A detailed resume of my academic background, work experience and personal statistics is available upon request.

For nearly ten years, I've been helping students achieve their educational goals, whether that be passing the TOEFL, the ACT/SAT, or earning As on essays. I also teach mindfulness techniques to improve focus and performance.

Through my program of study, I have already worked at multiple schools in Duval County, including Lakeshore Middle, James Weldon Johnson Middle and Sandalwood High School. I have tutored English language learners, exceptional learners, and small groups of students who struggle in math. I have also taught a few lessons at the middle school level. I tutored a high school student for an entire semester to provide additional support to help her pass her algebra 2 course. I am currently working on a portfolio in one of my classes. It includes lesson plans and other activities I have completed with students. There is a link provided later in this profile.
