- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new voice student, I first like to gauge their skill level and experience, and get a feeling for their voice type and preferred genre. We begin with vocal exercises and warm-ups to demonstrate these elements in a healthy and simple way, and afterward we are able to discuss how to proceed with choosing and working on music they will enjoy and learn from.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a voice degree from the College of Fine Arts at Jacksonville University, a BFA specialized in Musical Theatre. I am a classically trained soprano, so I have a wide variety of training and vocal expertise. I am currently working on my Masters in Vocal Pedagogy with the Westminster Choir College.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all genders and a wide age range, including both young children and adults.
