Sarah was literally our first officiant experience and we were HER first wedding 😭
She was very honest that she had only recently become ordained (April 28th to be exact), and by May 2nd she was already stepping in to officiate our ceremony last minute when we needed someone quickly. Honestly, because she was so new, we went into it just hoping for someone genuine to sign our papers and make everything official.
What we got was SO much more.
Our ceremony was small and intimate, just us two brides, our maid of honor, and best man and Sarah somehow made it feel incredibly personal, emotional, and meaningful. Nothing sounded copied or generic. You could immediately tell she was a writer or loved writing because the words she chose were beautiful and flowed so naturally.
We honestly expected nervousness or small mess-ups since it was her very first ceremony, but she completely exceeded our expectations. She was calm, warm, professional, and made the moment feel special instead of rushed.
You can tell she genuinely loves love and cares about creating a real connection during the ceremony. We are so grateful we took the chance on her, because she gave us a moment we’ll always remember.
