Introduction: My years of experience as an inspector and being in the construction business, bring to the table the quality that anyone would expect. Personal service. You call me, you talk to me, you hire me. No franchise, no answering service, just me. I do my inspections, treat my customers, and tell them the things they would need to know in order to make an informed decision as if I were buying the property myself. Being able to use my years of experience, to help people.

Mike was a pleasure to do business with, he was early to the appointment and was ready to start as soon as we got to the house. Mike started off with introducing himself and explained to us in terms that we would understand exacltly what we would be getting from this inspection. He made sure to let us know that if at anytime we did not understand or see what he was saying or seeing that he would stop and explain and show us what he saw. Mike handled himself like a true professional and was true to his word with everything that he promised. We will definitely recommend 4M Inspections to anyone looking for his type of services. Thank you for the quick turnaround on your report (within 24 hours) that was one of the reasons we chose 4M. Pleasure meeting him as well as doing business with him.

We contacted Michael to perform pre-closing inspection on a newly built manufactured (mobile) home in Sussex County, NJ. He sounded very knowledgeable, professional and friendly on the initial phone call, so we made an appointment for the following Saturday. Michael was right on time and a pleasure to work with. He did a very thorough inspection and took the time to answer all our questions and concerns. He found some issues that need to be addressed before the closing (leaking waste pipe, missing roof shingles, etc.). We had our inspection report in hand on Sunday. The pricing was great (inspection & radon testing). Once repairs have been made on some of the issues Michael found we will have him back for a re-inspection. Again, great price was quoted for the 2nd inspection. We would absolutely recommend Michael to anyone looking for an home inspector and will call him again for any future inspection needs.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Its a tiered system. In residential inspections, it starts with the size and age of the residence. In commercial inspections, its the age and also the size of the building and property. and its pretty simple from there. There are a wide variety of other services that can be added depending on the needs and concerns of the client. I will always suggest any services that especially are of a safety concern. But the client is always the one who decides which services will be performed.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Home inspectors are required to have minimum Continuing education credits every year by there states, and affiliated organizations. You can never learn to much, or enough. I have multiple licenses, and belong to multiple organizations, and strive to want to be the best. My work speaks for itself.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My good friend was a home inspector, and he would refer me to his clients. I started repairing the homes and businesses they were buying. Then I started doing inspections for him, and seen what problems people were experiencing, and just couldn't stand to see the bad work, and cover ups, and way that some people didn't care about there clients. I love what I do, and I am good at what I do.
