Reiko is a very patient, knowledgeable, and talented piano teacher. Trained in classical, jazz, pop, and other styles of music, there is nothing that Reiko can't play or teach. Most importantly, she makes the piano lessons fun!

Reiko is an amazing piano teacher! Now only does she have a sophisticated knowledge of music, but she is able to boil it down to be digestible for young children. She motivated them to learn (and to practice), always making the process fun for them and allowing them to feel good about themselves! My 4 and 7 year old kids looked forward to their weekly lessons, had fun practicing in between and we’re grief stricken when she left our area.

Reiko is amazing! She has so much patience and dedication in her lessons. As a busy graduate student and a beginner in playing the piano, I really appreciate Reiko's techniques on how to practice intelligently at home so that I can make the most progress. It's also fun and intellectually stimulating to work with Reiko as she encourages questions, goes out of her way to answer them, and has hilarious ways to explain things or point out my mistakes. I'm extremely glad to be Reiko's student!

Ms. Reiko is a wonderful piano teacher. My son took lessons with her for three years and would still be doing so if she hadn't moved. But in that time, she instilled in my son such a love of the piano that there was no question but that he would continue learning to play (though we've had trouble finding a teacher who measures up to her!). Ms. Reiko is talented, patient, kind and knows how to bring the best out of a young student. New York City's loss is Jupiter's gain. I cannot say enough good things about her.
