I am very disappointed they put a piece of the doorframe on that was damaged. At first it looked great, I was pleased. They told me not to close the door until the paint dried. The next day the door would not close. I have contacted them over 4 times in which they promised to come back to fix it. Since then I have not gotten any response. For charging $375 for a job I very well know could have been done way cheaper i gave them a chance. I like to support small businesses, not to be taken advantage of. I do not recommend at all. I am so displeased now if I even get a call back I do not want it. I have a new repairman that can fix it.
Romano Home Services's reply
Diane, we are sorry that you were dissatisfied with your experience. The approved price included the coordination, purchase and pickup of materials, travel to your property, labor, installation, preparation, and finish work—not only the time spent onsite.
We must respectfully clarify that we did not install damaged material. The damaged sections identified in the approved estimate were removed and repaired using new replacement materials in accordance with the agreed scope.
We also apologize for missing the follow-up inspection due to an unexpected medical issue. We contacted you afterward and offered to return next Tuesday, but have not received a response. We remain willing to inspect the door and address any adjustment related to our work.
Thank you, RHS.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the actual scope of work, property conditions, materials, labor, access, travel, disposal, and project complexity. We provide a detailed written estimate before work begins so customers understand exactly what is included.
Initial cleanups, repairs, and one-time projects are priced separately from recurring maintenance. Projects requiring materials generally require a 50% initial payment before materials are purchased and the service date is reserved.
We focus on fair, competitive pricing without sacrificing workmanship. If a customer has a specific budget, we can review the scope and recommend practical options whenever possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by reviewing the customer’s project details, photos, service address, measurements, and desired results. Depending on the project, we may request additional photos, a short video, or schedule an on-site assessment.
Once the scope is clear, we prepare a detailed written estimate outlining the work, materials, exclusions, payment terms, and any important project conditions. After the estimate is accepted and the applicable initial payment is received, we confirm the service date.
We communicate throughout the project, document any unexpected conditions before performing additional work, and complete a final cleanup and review when the job is finished.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings practical, hands-on experience in property maintenance, landscaping, yard cleanups, painting, pressure washing, minor repairs, installations, and general home services.
We continually improve our methods through manufacturer instructions, product training, safety guidance, and ongoing research into proper installation and maintenance practices. Before beginning a project, we review the property conditions, materials, tools, and safety requirements to determine the appropriate approach.
Romano Home Services also carries General Liability Insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance when required.
