FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The first step was curiosity. There was a Reiki class my husband was interested in and he asked me to go with him. I had never heard of Reiki at that time and was skeptical about the whole thing. I did of course attend that class and the changes Reiki made in my life have been crazy! Crazy good! I've changed the way I eat, the way I think about life and myself. I'm a much happier, positive person. I knew I wanted to share this amazing thing (Reiki) with as many people as possible. So I kept going to Reiki classes and massage school and here I am!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask them if they self-treat. I consider it to be very important that a person giving Reiki to others first give to them self.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Many people have never heard of Reiki, or they think its some weird form of massage. I wish people knew that Reiki is a complement to medical care, with over 800 hospital across the U.S. offering Reiki as a standard part of hospital care. Many nurses practice Reiki, and they report that Reiki helps patients heal faster with less pain, reduces stress and improves mental attitude, improves appetite, and reduces the negative side effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and other medical procedures. Reiki is wonderful!
