Ken was a key participant in the recent kickoff activist art event to support Palm Beach County's Climate Action Plan. Ken participated in several ways contributing thousands of dollars worth of probono effort to the success of HighWaterLine Delray Beach, including organizing a "Finder's Keepers" Art Treasure Hunt in which the public searched for small "talisman tiles" in 8 Delray Beach, Florida Parks, then brought the tiles to a central location where they were awarded handpainted art tiles to keep, AFTER they were videotaped saying what they had learned about what would be lost when the park they visited was under water due to Climate Change caused flooding. Ken also singlehandedly videotaped two other arts events designed to enhance the public's understanding of sea rise, the creation of street/sidewalk murals by local artists, and the "blue light" finale movement choir in which Delray and PBC residents moved in procession after dusk, carrying blue LED lights, along a previously chalked line representing 4 feet above sea level at high tide, and the homes at extreme flood risk below that line, His creative thinking and extensive film production experience were invaluable contributions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a very simple pricing stategy. I base my work on $66 an hour, plus expenses for marketing and advertising. Some jobs are 5 hours and some will be hundreds of hours. It all depends on the goals of the development.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read continually and am always learning the latest approaches in computers, marketing, advertising, social media, chemistry, building materials and much more
