I had a table with directions in a foreign language and over 100 assembly parts. Andrew went out of his way to contact the supplier to help with translation. After not getting very far with the supplier, it was unsure if the thing could be assembled. We agreed that he would tackle the project with “best effort” and would get full payment if assembled correctly and still get half for his efforts. He methodically laid out all the pieces and had multiple prints and a diagram on his phone. He arrived with a table, full set of tools and knee pads. Within an hour, the large 360 lb side board table was looking like the picture. After 2 hours, the entire thing was assembled with fully functioning drawers. The only step missing was to get the doors and hinges. He spent a good hour fiddinling and adjusting them to work properly, but something was off. We both looked at the hinges and realized something wasn’t right, he took it upon himself to order replacement parts from supplier or go to Home Depot to purchase different hinges that could still do The trick. This was all after I had paid him too.
Long story short, Dude put in 100% effort and wanted to make sure he did everything in his power to make sure I was satisfied and the table was fully functional.
