Stuff got packed an moved. Lost only one glass as I unpack, did not like getting charged $25 for some packing paper and tape. It was a big move with 6 hours of moving and 5 hours of packing (still charged $50 extra for first three hours). The work was good and price okay...felt a little nickel and dimed. I'd probably use them again, worth having a third guy compared to other movers offering two.
I was worried about paying an hourly rate because I have a huge house. But, I got packing & moving done under my budget. The movers & packers were very professional and took care with my items. I will use again when I move.
extremely punctual (actual arrived early!) and worked quickly. nice guys. it was a tough move out and move in space and they maneuvered both like total professionals. nothing, including some VERY fragile pieces, was damaged. i always cringe and have the urge to micromanage when movers look like they are a little tough on a few items, and this was no different. but they nicely responded to me asking them to handle something more carefully there weren't any problems! the truck looked very carefully packed and strapped down, i was overall very impressed. i've had top tier corporate movers move me back and forth across the country and this crew was on par with their packing and work. i would definitely recommend this crew to a friend.
Movers were great! Called and were early, we were still packing a bit and they even offered to help and were very friendly. We used movers before and they seem to drag it and it was much more expensive. Great value overall, would definitely refer!
We moved from Tampa to Miami yesterday and all I can say is: Do NOT use anyone else in Tampa...USE 7 Day Movers in Tampa ONLY. I got a quote from Jason over a month ago, but then my hubby told me that 'he' could move everything on his own by renting a U-Haul and not using a moving company. Seven days before our move, my hubby told me that he just couldn't do it so I called up 7 Day Moverd. He managed to fit me in for the move on Saturday (yesterday) - after giving him short notice. He literally booked me for a move 4 days after my 911 phone call to him AND kept the same low price he had originally given us. Jason had initially impressed me by coming to my home right away and quoting me and handing me a written quote. His pricing was phenomenal compared to the other moving companies in Tampa. Pedro hooked us up with a 26 foor truck and 3 burly men (all kind and attentive to our needs) to move us. The 7 Day Movers team arrived ON TIME yesterday and, considering it's a 4 bedroom home with garage, they loaded up all our items very carefully and efficiently. They also offered a packing service which was very low priced but we opted to pack our items on our own. In hindsight, having them pack up everything would've been well worth the money (and the time and exhaustion we've gone through these weeks) AND they would've done it in ONE day. Jason's crew loaded up all our furniture and multitude of boxes in record time and they (and my hubby) took off to Miami (an almost 5 hour trek) at the same time. What further amazed my hubby is that he only beat Jason's crew to Miami by 10 minutes whereas he was thinking that he'd have to wait some time for their arrival. The 7 Day Movers team then unloaded everything carefully and efficiently. My hubby gave each of the men a generous tip for their phenomenal service and we are incredibly happy this morning that everything was done: painless for us and so very efficient...by 7 Day Movers. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Jason and company, you and your company make an awesome team and you've got awesome staff, to boot!
Alex and his team did an excellent job packing my 7x7x8 POD for my cross country move. They were extremely communicative and helpful in answering all my questions. The fact that there were no hidden fees, my two hour window started when they arrived at my apartment (not when their truck left their lot), and they helped move a few of my pieces into a friend's Uhaul without charging additional fees, was simply amazing. If I'm ever back in Florida I would definitely use their services again!
I can't thank this company enough for the huge move I had on my hands. I was fortunate to meet Ray, Donte and Eric. They took such meticulous care of our goods, in wrapping, packing and transporting from one destination to another. As tired as we all were, they did not stop until the job was finished. Hands down genuinely the kind of people you always wished would show up at your door. Licensed bonded insured and clear background check are terms well supported by Daniel and Johnny. Go with your gut and book them as I did. Although they are new to their own moving company they have extensive knowledge of proper packing in regards to antiques including items which can never be replaced due to sentimental value. Michelle is a very talented person, responsible, loyal, and dependable. You can trust her not to let you down . She comes to my house and in just a couple of house does more work that all the other cleaning and organizing ladies I hired in the past. Your money spent with her will let you in Ahhhhhh!!! She even cleaned my sliding doors and windows inside and out, organized things with great taste and practicality, dusted in places I didn't know needed it or I couldn't reach. She is not affraid to get on her knees and scrub your floors the old fashioned way which makes each tile shine like a mirror and return to it's original color. She is very fast, efficient, and will give you more than fair charges! I love her perky personality! She will go the extra mile to help you in any circumstances such as moving, packing, organizing just about anything! Outstanding job Michelle! You rock!
Sharon helped me when I was dealing with reorganizing my home after the loss of my son. She was so respectful of my feelings and she was truly able to keep me on task. She has also been involved with me moving, packed all my antiques and very delicate items, then was able to get down with me in my garage and prepare all the boxes and packing required. I required movers to enable my shift from Orlando to Ocala. This was the first time that I was moving and hence was skeptical about the experience. I must say that the movers from Happy Moving did a top-notch job. We had taken care of the packing and rented a uhaul truck. The movers, Mattew and Rico, were right on time and started accessing the job. After loading they drove our truck to Ocala and unloaded our stuff. There was no damage to any of our things and they were extremely professional the entire day. We were already stressed out with the move and the last thing that we would have wanted was the movers not agreeing or creating a fuss with regard to any of our wishes. There were a couple of times we had to change our mind about the placement of our furniture in the new house and they didn't mind or show any grimace at all. It was also very economical. They advertise at $65 an hour and that is exactly what they charge us. No hidden or implicit fees. So A+ to the two movers. One negative was the communication gap between the supervisors and the movers. During the fixing process, we were told that the movers would get a dozen blankets and I had mentioned that the movers would need to drive my rental truck to Ocala. But when the movers showed up, they neither had the blankets nor had any idea that they had to drive the truck to Ocala. I had expected more professionalism and better,lucid communication between the managers and the movers. This was definitely lacking. I hope they improve this in the future for their own good as they have great potential. The great service by the movers outshined the comm mixup.
I always thought moving companies are no good. Then I hired Pick Up Movers which completely changed my mind. I got a hint of their efficiency when I called them first. Their customer service was very helpful and prompt. Their quote was unbeatable. The best part of their service was the movers. They were so punctual and efficient. The movers were so fast at the packing and loading process. The delivery was made on time and everything was in perfect condition. All my prejudices about moving companies are gone.
We have moved several times and a few times across country. Our experience with Great Nation Moving was by far the easiest and hassle free experience that we have had with moving. They sent over an appraiser who was able to give us a quote after walking through our house and seeing what we owned and were moving. He was within $50 of our ending price, so it extremely accurate. The pricing was in-line with several other companies that we had quote out the job. Rose, their sales/account manager, was great. We explained that we needed to move from within a specific time frame, and they were able to accommodate to our schedule. We were driving to our new home as soon as the movers were done packing everything up, and they even accommodated a faster pack up by adding an additional member to the crew packing up our belongings. They delivered our items in less than a week, which was much faster than our past experiences. Rose kept me posted on the progress of everything throughout the process and seemed to be working 24 hrs a day to make sure we were comfortable and in the know of what was going on. She even called within 30 minutes of the delivery of our items to see how everything went. We did have some slight damage on one item, which we were not bothered with as the item was beat up from a previous move. Without us filing a complaint, Rose was able to get us a check to cover the damages. Overall it was some of the best customer service I have experienced. Its always a headache and there is always the hidden issues that pop up along the way, however, I felt Rose kept us in the know and ahead of the curve with the move. That goes a long way when you have literally everything you own in their hands.
