When I was looking for a new family law attorney, I checked out all the websites. I checked out a few of the top rated lawyers that was listed on www.avvo.com. I called them and honestly, I wasn't impressed. I called James and presented my issues to him and he mentioned things that the other lawyers that were supposedly top rated didn't even suggest. When you're spending money, you want someone for you verses being another number. James works with you and for you. He wants to please you. He knows his stuff. He knows family law. My first attorney in my divorce was not as proficient as James is. I wish I had James the first time so I wouldn't have to go through this again. Divorce, time sharing and child support are very stressful. James clearly knows the law and especially will make you happy with the decisions that you make. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We are just getting started but I feel very confident in Mr. Edison. Right away, he was very responsive and has taken the time to explain everything in detail so i could understand it. He was the first attorney that I had spoken with that completely saw things from my perspective. He also seems to tackle things differently than others and overall I just felt it was very refreshing. I look forward to moving forward with his experience and guidance in my divorce/custody case.

I was representing a client in an extremely complex marriage dispute, where the personalities of the parties did not make settlement any easier, let alone having their physical presence in the same room together. Mr. Hickman did a marvelous job handling this dispute and was successful in getting both sides to compromise even where there was no daylight to do so before. His approach, negotiating skills, brutal honesty, his patience, and his ability to make the parties feel empowered, were not only impressive but tactfully employed at the right times. As an attorney, I was happy to see my client have a say in the outcome of their divorce. As for my client... ... ... well, their just happy it's over! Thanks, Dwayne.

Mr Jacobs was very empathetic and understanding of my situation. He gave me the best advice I could get to ensure I don't make any wrong decisions and even under our time limit he remained very attentive and informative. Mr Jacobs seems to be very passionate about his work and that is the type of person the people need as an attorney.

Milton Acevedo and his associate attorney Felicia are both down to earth and eager to get results. They made me feel very comfortable. I was charged a retainer fee for 3 felony charges and 2 charges were not filed so Milton reduced my retainer fee by 50%. If you want real people to be your professional representation hire Acevedo Law Firm
