We had an out of town wedding so secured a photographer through thumbtack since we were not familiar with any local photographers. We paid $400 for 1.5 hours and were supposed to get 50 prints in a book and a CD with full copyrights. The photographer showed up on time. I had a wedding party of 5 and a total number of guests not counting wedding party of 5. So very simple. I assumed photographer would make sure all appropriate poses would be captured. There were very few taken prior to the ceremony of the guests and wedding party. There were several taken of the wall and bible of church that were poor and irrelevant. The majority of photos were taken outside on the church grounds and later on the beach nearby. Many of the poses the photographer took were silly and repetitive. So after she finished we waited for two weeks to get the CD. No one at the wedding had taken any photos so we had none to look at for two weeks. When the CD arrived there were only a little bit over 50 photos on the CD. And most of them were of poor quality. Heads cut off at the top and goofy faces on us. I was soooo upset. I emailed TRL studios about this. He had to look into the matter. I waited for a response and found out that there was indeed another CD with more photos. But it took two more weeks to receive it. So a month later from wedding date I got the complete CD of photos. There were a little under 300 images. I have take my time to review them and get more and more disappointed by the lack of artistry and general knowledge of quality picture-taking. So many images with goofy faces. And heads cut off. No pictures of me with my stepdaughter or her with me and my husband. Repetitive poses that were pointless. I was never given instructions on how to order the wedding book I was told I would get. At this point I prefer to get them printed elsewhere. The editing was poor also. And there was no photo shop that I could see so all flaws were prominent. The most I can say is there are some decent photos out of the few hundred that we can cherish. Be careful and make sure you know the amount of experience your photographer has. That person can make or break your most memorable event. I have no printed photos. And am missing poses I wish I had and parts of the ceremony were never captured. So this event deserves a poor quality rating.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We want to get to know you , a call or an email will start the process, from there we take just a $100 retainer to book the date , we instantly send out an invoice with receipt , a contract , full info on getting your Florida Marriage license , and several basic ceremony's to start . These we can then fine tune to be custom for each client . We then finalize all the details just 7 days prior to the big day ...its just that easy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Simple Ceremony's on the beaches of Tampa bay , or at our very own Gazebo on the lake front . We will travel up to 150 miles for you at no extra charge from our base in Clearwater.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask how many years experience do they have , how many weddings have they done , Myself I have been doing weddings over 21 years and have done well over 5000 weddings
