FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As always there are books and magazines, but more that that are clubs and lectures. Where many of us come together to learn from not only the paid lecturer, but also from eachother. We share ideas, and build on each others knowledge. We have the ability to gain outside perspective, and improve not only ourselves, but those around us as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I believe that most professions are not something you decide to do, but more of a calling or burning desire within you. For example, I have always enjoyed entertaining, and growing up was provided with many opportunities. The neighborhood kids would get together and put in shows as "The Heathcote Repertory Company" We performed at Block Parties, and Octoberfests. It was where I learned that I could do anything, be anybody, and more than that I could make people laugh. There is still that feeling that I get each time I perform that is very exciting, as well as gratifying.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Cheaper is not always better, do not base entertainment on price alone. Always ask for references, ore testimonials. Also pictures and or video can tell you more about an entertainer. If they have no references. testimonials, no pictures, or videos, your experience may not be a positive one. Then not only will you have had a bad experience but that cheap price will seem to be even more costly,
