My cousin had a kitchen fire that caused soot damage throughout his 2-bedroom apt. I had to manage all the details from the opposite coast and 3 hrs difference in time zones. Teddy kept me updated with photos, frequent texts and phone calls (at times that were convenient for me but definitely outside of business hours for him). He also coordinated with the apartment manager and other vendors which made it so much easier for me. When the insurance company initially denied the claim, he walked me through the process and they reopened the claim. They were not contracted with him so I had to pay $41,000 out of pocket. As soon as I submitted his documentation (itemization and photos), we were reimbursed in full. The apt looks great and there is no lingering odor of smoke. He removed the damaged areas in the kitchen which included cabinets, appliances and food. He had to clean all the contents (including furniture, clothes, artwork, shelves of books) as well as all the surfaces and carpets. Teddy taught me a lot about all the processes required to remove soot and odor and I can't thank him enough for handling all the details so efficiently. I highly recommend his services.

My husband and I suffered from smoke damage after a neighbor’s apartment caught fire. It was an extremely stressful situation - we could not live in our apartment because the smell of burnt plastic was so awful, our cats had to be boarded, and our landlord was being very difficult about cleaning up the apartment. We thought we were going to lose everything.
Then I found Teddy, literally the best thing that could have happened to us after such a stressful event. He was in our corner throughout the entire process; he was able to come out to our home immediately to check out the damage, basically strong-armed our landlord into doing the right thing (clean up the apartment), and was also very knowledgeable in how to deal with the insurance company.
Teddy always texted/called with updates and was very honest throughout the entire process. He also took extra care of restoring our home because he knew that both I and one of my cats has asthma. Best of all, he got the smell of burnt plastic out of our apartment and made it so that we could bring our cats home and feel safe. I thank Teddy and his team from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Teddys odor removal treatment is nothing short of magic, he came out within hours of our first contact and fully removed intense odor from a cat who to put it nicely, wasn't a big fan of the litter box and the odor had permeated throughout nearly my entire home. He didn't mask the odor it was completely removed and would reccomend his services to anyone.
Teddy was great. Super professional. Knows his stuff and provided a lot of good advice. He knows the remediation space very well and had a smoky smelling apartment smelling fresh in clean after treatment. He took the time to redo some areas he thought needed more attention. He clearly cared about doing a good job and I appreciated it. Highly recommend and would work with Teddy again if I needed help again.

Teddy and his team are extremely proficient in multiple areas of property restoration.
I manage properties and we have used him for major water damage, indoor smoking odors and most recently a fire that significantly damaged a townhouse under our management that was about a month long project where they cleaned the soot, deodorized the personal items and when they were finished we couldn't smell smoke at all. Was like it never happened.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Odor removal is an art with elements of science, do your due diligence on whoever you decide to hire so you don't spend money without results and spin your wheels. I am very good at what I do and I would love to be selected for your project. I am a specialist this is an area I excel in whereas other companies may be good with mold etc... but don't have nearly the level of experience in the field that I have for odor removal. It's not uncommon for customers to go with the lowest price and end up calling me because the other company failed. That being said I think my prices are fairly reasonable and by far the best value and I am extremely careful with the chemistries I use not only for the safety of my customers but also in protecting your pets, homes, and personal items from damage. I do fire/smoke damaged contents restoration so I know how to handle personal items with care.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a phone interview on certain aspects of the odor scenario and start to formulate a plan, sometimes I can give an estimate over the phone other times I will need to visit the site.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
