My work highly concentrates on the body-mind-connection. Even though a lot of personal trainers are finally realizing that you can't train the body without incorporating the mind, there are still too many of us out there who do exactly that. But if your goal is to enhance your overall life experience, to be happier, less stressed, to enjoy life, then it is more important than ever to not only work on your physical fitness but also on your mindset. My ultimate goal is to make people realize it's not about how you look but how you feel. If you feel great, you will make better choices for yourself and your body.

I get to know a lot of amazing people who allow me to help them reach their goals and unfold their true potential in every area of their lives. It is always a great feeling to see people achieving their goals and the smile on their faces when they tell me they reached their next mile stone.

    Exceptional workout, nutritional and mindset plans!
    I've known Jennifer for years, as a client and as a friend. I accomplished the best shape of my life while working with Jenn. She made a personalized workout plan for me, she also provided constant nutritional guidence and even emotional and spiritual support many many times! Jenn is very knowledgeable about clean sustainable nutrition and her plans are very practical. She is very experienced and patient. She also has a great non judgmental, calm and positive attitude that makes her very pleasant to work with! I recommend her 100%. She is amazing!

    I love Jennifer and her approach. She's not just about the scale, the pounds, and the looks. Jennifer geniounly cares about her clients' wellbeing and that includes physical and mental fitness. You have fun working out with her. She pushes you while you always at the same time know and feel that she's got you. She takes care of you. Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable not just in the field of physical fitness, but also when it comes to mental support & wellbeing, motivation, and nutrition. I even trained with Jen via long distance. She went above and beyond and created a video for me in which she demonstrated and explained the different exercises. I could do this workout everywhere which was super practical while traveling and after I had moved to the west coast. I lost 20 pounds in two months on her program while also watching what I ate. But I credit her training and more even her spirit, her inspiration, and her support with helping me stay on track when it came to my nutrition and clean eating as well. I cannot recommend Jennifer enough & can't wait to be in the same city as her again to enjoy a session with her. Thank you, Jennifer, for your help & guidance. You rock!

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I offer a complimentary phone consultation to get to know the clients and find out if we are a good fit for each other. The first session then consists of an assessment where we talk about goals, past experiences with exercise, gyms, and trainers, nutrition, medical history, and beliefs about oneself and how they affect our behaviors. During the assessment (depending on the goals) we usually also take measurements to have a reference point. Based on the information I collect during this first session I create a workout plan, nutritional guidelines, and the training schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I got certified in Germany I don't need to take continuing education courses to keep my license active (even though I think that is a great idea to ensure you keep up to date with what's going on in your field). However, I do read a lot of the newest research that's coming out, I visit seminars, and I am planning to become certified in nutritional counseling, so I can assist my clients even better.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In a personal trainer - client - relationship you share a lot of very personal information. Therefore you should make sure you find a trainer you can trust and who makes you feel comfortable.
