Hey there, my name is Alisa and I'm a piano and music theory teacher for over twelve years. I've been a teacher a little bit less than a half of my life and i think i'll stick to it forever :) because i like to connect with people, help them to grow, get through their emotions and just be there for them in different times.
I love music and i really eager to tell about it's beauty!
My experience in education is broad and varied: besides private lessons, I’ve worked with kids in kindergartens and schools, led soundwalks, and created and conducted workshops and full-scale masterclasses about music. I’ve also lived with children in camps, organized activities and quests for them, worked as an English-speaking governess, and organized family holidays in the North.
All of this experience has shaped me into a sensitive and attentive teacher with a solid methodological foundation. I’m great at connecting with people of all ages, making them feel comfortable and trust me on the lessons. I foster a non-judgmental environment where students feel safe to ask any questions and try new things. I prioritize keeping students motivated, helping them through rough patches, and encouraging them not to give up. Kids and teens have described me as a safe adult who’s easy to be around, while adults appreciate the care and support I provide, making learning accessible.
