The Luigi Arredondo Collective

Introduction: Luigi Arredondo is an acclaimed saxophonist, drummer, and composer of Dominican and American heritage. Graduating from The University of North Florida in the summer of 2021, Luigi has established himself as a remarkable musician, celebrated for his distinctive and enchanting sound, as well as his expressive and melodious improvisations on the saxophone. He has had the privilege of performing alongside esteemed artists including Tito Puente Jr, Agapito Pascual, Joshua Bowlus, Scott Giddens, Agapito Pascual, Taylor Roberts, Olga Tanon, Elvis Crespo, Sandy Reyes, John Lumpkin Jr, Dennis Marks, Terry ‘Doc’ Handy, DiSip, Ekip and numerous others. Luigi's talents have taken him to prestigious music venues worldwide, including Prohibition Kitchen, Olympia Theatre, Adrienne Arsht Center, Good Times, The Jazz Corner, and performances in France, Suriname, Bahamas, Canada, Guiana, the Dominican Republic, and across the United States. Whether as a soloist or in various ensemble configurations ranging from duos to sextets, Luigi offers a diverse repertoire spanning Jazz, Funk, R&B, and Latin genres. Excitingly, Luigi is currently in the process of recording debut album "Reform" and will be released in the winter of 2024, further showcasing his musical prowess and artistry.
